VolumeONE Salon Gives Back

On Saturday December 11, 2021 VolumeONE Salon staff, family, and friends gathered for the annual holiday party. However, this year’s event was unlike any of its predecessors. This year the focus was not only on celebrating another year of beautiful hair and cutting edge style, it was to give back to the community that has built us.

VolumeONE, with the generous contributions of local artists and dazzling auctioneer Gina Boyleston, was able to raise over $14,000 for local non-profit Sunday’s Child. This is the most any one event has raised for this organization. We are overwhelmed with joy and gratitude for those who attended, those who bought art, and those who participated in the live auction.
Sunday’s Child raises money to provide grants for local organizations who promote diversity and inclusion as well as creating a safe space for those in the LGBTQ+ community. We are so honored to be a part of this amazing group and that we were able to provide a platform for the outpouring of support for this cause.

This auction was the first of its kind and for both us and some of the artists who generously donated their work.

Following the auction, we danced and celebrated another year of growth and success for not only VolumeONE but the Pensacola community as a whole.

A special thanks to Hurst Butts, the founder of VolumeONE, Gary Rhodes and Jacey Consentino of Sunday’s Child, Gina Boyleston our fabulously talented auctioneer, all our artists who donated, and VolumeONE’s event coordinator Katherine Velez. This event would not have been possible without your efforts.
